Data Analyst DHIS2

The Data Analyst is responsible for cleansing, preparing, analyzing, and exploring data. This role includes creating reports and dashboards, utilizing statistical expertise, and effectively communicating findings. The Data Analyst will work closely with domain experts and other stakeholders to provide solution oriented insights. This position requires frequent travel for supporting and monitoring program activities in selected districts.

Responsibilities

Cleanse and prepare data for analysis.

Analyze and explore data to uncover insights.

Apply statistical methods to analyze data.

Visualize data and create comprehensive reports and dashboards.

Communicate findings effectively through writing and presentations.

Collaborate with domain experts to ensure data relevance and accuracy.

Provide solution oriented recommendations based on data analysis.

Required Qualification

An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in statistics or any other relevant subject is preferred.

A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in health humanitarian work and information management systems.

Relevant experience working in the field, particularly with Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).

Knowledge of English is required; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
