Teacher - Physical Education

Responsibilities & Context

Develop and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives.

Plan and organize a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, games, and exercises to enhance students' motor skills, coordination, and physical fitness.

Create a safe and supportive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and develop their physical abilities.

Assess students' progress and skill development through observation, performance evaluations, and informal assessments.

Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills, techniques, and overall physical fitness levels.

Incorporate principles of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play into lessons, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and respect for others.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners to promote physical activity initiatives and wellness programs.

Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in physical education pedagogy, health education, and child development.
