Director- Hospital Development

Responsibilities & Context

Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to enhance hospital services and facilities.

Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in hospital operations and patient care.

Collaborate with hospital leadership to align development goals with overall organizational strategy.

Design and execute fundraising campaigns, grant applications, and donor engagement strategies.

Establish and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors.

Oversee the management of development funds, ensuring ethical and efficient use of resources.

Serve as a liaison between the hospital and community stakeholders, including patients, families, and local organizations.

Organize and participate in community outreach activities to promote hospital services and initiatives.

Foster partnerships with other healthcare providers and institutions to enhance service delivery.

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote hospital programs and services.

Manage public relations efforts to enhance the hospital’s image and reputation.

Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and digital content.

Lead and manage the development team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.

Monitor team performance and address any issues or challenges.

Ensure all development activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Prepare and present regular reports on development progress, financial performance, and strategic outcomes to the hospital’s board and senior management.
